There’s a new Legion of Super-Heroes series coming soon from DC. We don’t know what the make-up of the team will be yet, but it’s a safe bet one member will be Star Boy. After all, the kid who controls gravity has been on every version of the team to date – original, Reboot, Threeboot, Retroboot and Bendis.

I definitely like Thom! That issue where he frets about the Legion election is one of my favorites of his appearances — including that cover, where the starfield of his uniform blends in with the space behind him. I love that sort of visual trickery!
I’m usually more fond of him having just the gravity powers — I like a Legion full of specialists — but he’s a fun character either way. And one of the first bearded heroes I remember seeing in comics!

Yes, one power per person is best, though I do enjoy a logical extension. Paul Levitz was great at that, and we saw that for Thom in that Legion Worlds #4.
